Food: Well, there’s a lot to review! Firstly, the pizzette, it’s a great idea to have a small slice of pizza before a starter. It’s was nice pizza too. Then, the starter, I had a salad de gésiers (gizzard salad). I really like gizzards, that’s why I chose it. Mum had a peasant salad, bacon lardons, lettuce, orange pieces and tomato. It was good but not as good as mine. (well, that’s what I think anyway). Then, the main course, I had daube (pretty much) it was really nice, with lovely beans and OK chips. Mum and dad both had rabbit, again with lovely beans and OK chips, they were both excellent, really flavoursome and a lovely texture. But, dad did get the rib cage which meant he got less meat than mum. Now the cheese! A nice tome I think, with Camembert in packets at the side. There were only a few cheese plates so they all got passed around. Now, I can’t believe it but there’s the pudding! Cor, so much! Now I need a little siesta. I had a good île-flotante, mum had a very good nut pie (tarte noix) with homemade pastry and dad had a good creme caramel. Then dad had a great coffee. The bill was €38.50 (for three cracking five course menus and a coffee) what’s your favourite restaurant? This is mine I think!
