We will be arriving at our destination shortly. Enjoy your flight! Okay, jokes apart, I’m glad with what I cooked today. I made some turnip mash **SPOILER ALERT** it was really really good, and some stock cooked spinach.
To start off with, I made the braised turnips that I did the other day, so not much detail. Basically I blanched them and cooked them in butter for a half hour. Then I boiled some potatoes, mashed ’em and then mashed in the turnips with a bit of butter. Then I beat it over some heat to remove some moisture. Mean while, I also made a court bouillon, which is basically a vegetable stock, by boiling some water with some peppercorns, some celery, some fennel, and other stuff for 10 minutes. Then I started on my spinach. To do this, I blanched it, drained it, cooked it in butter to remove moisture, added some flour, cooked it some more then added some stock and cooked for 10 minutes covered. It was all amazing. The mash was divine, the spinach was creamy, it was just all very good.
SO that was good, I got 3 recipes down too! So efficency to da max. Anyway, I gotta go do something stupid. BYe!
