Food: My pork tenderloin was okay, but not very tender, it was over cooked.
The barley risotto that came with the pork was not what I would call risotto; risotto is meant to be nice and sticky but this was not. Plus, it was barley, not rice. The red cabbage was good but too sweet.
Mum and Dad both had scallops. It had sweet potatoes which were banging, and roe butter which I didn’t taste but mum said that it was great. Janet had tempora prawns which we all liked, but to be honest, who doesn’t?
Service: A bit mucky.
Atmosphere: Good
Quirky Bits: Nothing really
Little Bits That Are Nice: pictures of puffins on the mantelpiece.
Bad Bits: The waitress went to ‘check’ if Janet could just have prawns, no bread
