Food: The rocamadour was great, most people would put it on bread, but this place puts it on half a baked apple. The apple needed more seasoning though. Dad’s carpaccio of melon was not a carpaccio, it was slices of melon. The closest there was to a carpaccio (on the plate) was the ham, but that wasn’t a carpaccio. Good though, but not enough seasoning on either of them. We all had ‘Parmentier de poisson’ and it was good but too much mash and not enough fish or salt. This restaurant isn’t very good on seasoning, seasoning is crucial! Then me and dad had cheese and mum had rhubarb crumble. Mum’s crumble was a very good crumble. Crumbles are easy to make but there are a lot of ways to go wrong. The cheese was good, especially the goats cheese! The onion marmalade was ok, too much sugar and no vinegar, you need vinegar for the piquancy. The coffee was good but not as good as homemade illy coffee.
Service: good, but they talked in English (this is Saint Antonin)
Atmosphere: great!
Little bits that are nice: it overlooks the river aveyron.
Quirky bits: people canoeing
Bad bits:
Price: €€
