Hi. Tonight I was going to make some veal chops, but there wasn’t any in the shop, so I had to settle with cabbage roasted pork. I know. Life is hard. But anyway, I fried some carrots and onions in some oil and butter, then I added the pork, covered and put in the oven for an hour. After said hour, I blanched some cabbage for about 5 minutes, then I placed it around the pork and placed in the oven for a further hour.
Then I made a turnip casserole. Basically, I blanched some turnips, fried some bacon, added some flour, cooked out, added some stock, added the turnips, then covered and cooked for 40 minutes. The turnips were so good. They were baconny, great, turnippy, great. The pork was good, nicely cooked, the cabbage was awesome, cooked in the juices . Wonderful.
That’s all I got. Its nearing into christmas, exciting! I gotta go now, I could make up a funny reason but I can’t be bothered. Bye!
