Food: the prawn and crab beignet, lobster bisque and beetroot purée was delish! The bisque and the purée were cold and the beignet was warm! So the warm/hot combo is really nice. Everything was good on their own, but together, it just becomes a whole different thing! Amazing! So, classy restaurants don’t usually do everyday stuff like a duck leg and mash and carrots, but these guys did! And they brought it up to exquisite level! There was a sauce, that reminded me of chicken noodle soup – or in this case duck noodle soup – and the mash soaked it all up and was so smooth and had carrots in and… oooh i could go on for hours explaining how good it was! Then, the desert, a coconut mousse, (mmmm) lemon sponge cake (oh baby) kiwi and apple sauce (flip!) and a mango sorbet (hot damn!!!!) absolutely amazzzzing!
