Mmmm … This time it’s not ‘Hmmm’ but ‘Mmmm’. This is post one of two today. I remade the quiche. It was mega. I made it at school (I got a dope school) and I handed it round. Everybody loved it. I’ll take that as a good thing. I’m even gonna put the recipe on here because my best friend Emma asked me to.
I made the pastry as I was supposed to. And it worked. I was using the wrong flour (spelt) but it worked like a dream with just plain old wheat flour. I rubbed 140g of flour with 110g of butter, half a teaspoon of salt and a good old pinch of sugar until they resemble breadcrumbs. Then I added about one and a half tablespoons of water and mixed. Then I kneaded the dough for about five minutes.
I put it in the fridge for an hour, then rolled it and put it in an 8 inch tart case. I baked it at 200 degrees C (400 F) for 13 minutes. One exorcism later just to be sure, and I take out the baking beans, I prick the bottom and put it back in for a further three minutes.
I then made the mixture. I mixed 85g camembert with 170g of cottage cheese, three tbsp of cream and two eggs (dont forget them, they’re really important, I did it so you don’t have to). Then add it to the case and cook for 25 minutes at 190°C (375°F). YOU’RE DONE.
I hope you enjoyed, I’ll post another post tonight with something new. See you then!

Hi! sorry I didn’t reply to you, I got it at a fairly local shop called Côte à Côte, it’s good stuff and ressembles cottage cheese quite a lot. It’s not exact, but it does the trick!
