26th October 2020 by Iggy Brodie

What’s up llamas? How ya doin’? Today I made my favorite: Chicken! (this is becoming a meme I’m sure) It looked like a really finicky dish but it was really very simple! I started by cooking some carrots and onions in lots of butter. Then I put in the chicken and cooked it on an extremely low heat for 4 minutes turning every minute. After that, I covered it and cooked for 10 minutes turning once.

After that, I added some stock, some some white wine and let it simmer for 30 minutes covered. Meanwhile I made some stewed mushrooms and braised onions. Once the chicken had reached an internal temperature of 81ºC I removed them and reduced the sauce. Whilst that was bubbling, I whisked some egg yolks with some cream. Then poured the sauce in drop by drop. It was great! It was incredibly french and not the kind of cooking we do at all, but it’s nice to have a change sometimes!

Right ho! I hope you liked it! I’ve been trying to master latte art but just cannot do it! I’ve been drinking probably waaay more coffee than is healthy too but anything to get it right! Do you guys have any tips? Anyway, ’til next time!
