Friday 4th September: Quiches

4th September 2020 by Iggy Brodie

Another day, another two recipes down. Two more quiches. This time I modified the recipes slightly to make mini quiches but the base is still the same. Today will be slightly shorter because there’s not a lot to blog about.

I started by making the pâte brisée as per yesterday and I put them in little moulds. I then boiled and fried some bacon and put them in half of the tart cases. After that, I mixed three eggs, 250ml of cream and salt and pepper. Then I poured some in each case that had bacon in.

Now I made the onion mixture. I long fried onions with a lot of butter. I then put them in the other cases and added the egg and cream mixture and some grated cheese. Then I put them in the oven for 15 minutes at 180 degrees C.

These were so good and mega easy. I’m not working tonight or tomorrow so I’ll see you Sunday!
