The downfall of many a masterchef contestant, these challenging sounding desert is so tasty when made properly. Makes 3
Ingredients
- 12Og butter plus extra to grease
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 120g dark chocolate
- 2 eggs and 2 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp flour
- 120g caster
1 heat the oven to 180°C fan. Grease 3 moulds with butter then put cocoa powder in the moulds roll around until all is coated, then pour in the next and repeat. Throw away the excess
2.melt the butter and the chocolate together over a bain marie
3. whisk the egg , egg yolk and sugar in a seperate bowl until pale and slightly fluffy then fold in the melted butter and chocolate mixture with a metal spoon repeat with the flour
4. put in moulds, you can chill or freeze these at this point.
5 cook for 12 mins room temperature 14min cold and 16min frozen
Take out and let rest for 30secs before putting on plate
