Hello again! As you can see I have been posting to my hearts content today (or more like for your hearts content). I feel bad for never posting so here you go! This is a chocolate cake of my own making that sure to impress, with a ganache with a surprising ingredient! So lets get to it!
Ingredients
For cake:
1/2 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 cup cocoa powder
4 eggs
1 cup milk (or nut milk)
1/2 cup chestnut flower
1/2 cup ground almonds
1 cup tapioca flour
4 tsp baking powder
For the Ganache:
2 avocadoes
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup maple syrup
1. preheat oven to 180ºC and grease 22 cm tin
2. whisk the coconut oil and maple syrup in a bowl, then the cocoa powder
3. whisk in the eggs one by one making sur they dont scramble then mix in the milk
4. In a seperate bowl sieve the dry ingredients together
5. mix the dry ingredients into the rest of the batter making sure theres no lumps, pour into the mould and bake for 25 mins.
6. Meanwhile, put all the ingredients for the ganache into a blender and blend.
Once the cake is cooked, take it out and leave to cool, put the ganache on generously
