Okay lads, I’m gonna cut straight to the chase if I’m gonna get this out tonight. I made the most luxurious and buttery omelette you’ve never tasted. It took so much butter it was unreal. I waited until it was almost brown, then shoved the eggs in. It took seconds to cook and then I rolled it up and slopped it on the plate. Too much butter for me though to be honest, it was overkill. I still ate it all though so it can’t have been tooo filling.
Now I made a Pissaladière and it went well. So I started by cooking onions for 1 hour in lots of oil (not butter, I wonder why?). I also made a short crust pastry. Then I put the onions in the baked pastry case and then put some anchovies and olives on top. In the onion for 10 minutes and boom. I did a little test. So I put it out for taste and told people to rate it on a scale of 1 to 10 and it only got 10s (I’m not even joking). It suffered a little bit from soggy bottom syndrome but hey, it was still good. I also long baked some cucumbers. They were a bit bitter but I think that’s the variety. They were really good though.
